I have some IOT devices that the manufacture decided would be a good idea to hard code the IP address in Not user changeable.I have 4 of these devices and they are all hard coded to Half appreciating the problem I have connected them directly to 4 separate Ethernet ports on my PC using cross over cables and configured those ports as No idea what netmask I should use, and if I should give each one a gateway address.

Now can anybody think of a way I can actually access these devices? I feel I need to be spoofing something, or doing some weird routing.They only need to be accessed by this one PC, so I don't need to worry about forwarding packets to the outside world or anything.

Any help greatly appreciated - currently trying to 'hack' the firmware in these devices so I can change their IP addresses.But would proberbly be easier.The codec is H.

There is also a control interface exposure, white balance, etc.Since my post I have managed to crack the firmware using a hex editor and change the IP address, but just trying to recalculate the CRC, as the firmware up-loader in the device is currently rejecting my modification.

Interestingly they seem to have their own DHCP server in them, because if I set the PC to 'Automatic' each interface gets an IP address, netmask, and a gateway of the device itself - very weird, but I guess some of these Chinese manufactures haven't figure out IP yet.
